Getting Here

The most common way of getting to North Captiva is by flying into Ft. Myers at SW Florida International (RSW), then taking a taxi to Pine Island where one can catch a water taxi to the island.

You can reach Pine Island by car from the south or north on I-75. From I-75 head west on Pine Island Rd. (SR 78). Depending on ferry service they will give you directions from there.

If you fly into SW Florida International Airport - you can catch an airport shuttle or a taxi service to Pine Island. The taxi will take you to the the boat service that you have selected to use. Reservations are required for taxi service.

Captain Charlie Creagh 239-472-1234 runs a private water taxi to and from Four Winds Marina. Call to schedule your exact arrival/departure needs.

There is also a private airstrip on North Captiva. It is one of the last remaining Gulf of Mexico Barrier Island airstrips. Authorization for its use is required.
