It can be quite an adventure exploring North Captiva. It offers a wide variety of activities from nature walks to jet-skiing. As well as a large nature preserve - the island has a club resort which offers many amenities. Whether you are interested in exploring the outer reaches of a tropical island or spending the day by the pool or playing a game of tennis - North Captiva is the place for you.

The North Captiva Island Club sits on the north residential end of the island. It offers swimming for guests and members with a heated Olympic pool, a lap pool and a jacuzzi. There is plenty of space on our 10,000 square foot brick paved pool area with 80 chaise lounges and a pool bar offering a superb lunch and appetizer menu. Fine dining is available upstairs from the front desk at the dock at the Boat Club. Tennis is available on two Har-Tru clay courts that are conveniently lit for night play. Bicycles are available for touring the island. The Island Club also sports playground, volleyball and basketball areas for the kids. Fishing is a 'must do' activity while you are on the island. Some of the best fishing in the world is around North Captiva and its surrounding waters. Captiva Pass and the backbay of Pine Island Sound is home to Snook, Grouper, Redfish, Snapper, Black Drum, Spotted Sea Trout, Sheepshead, Spanish Mackerel, Blue Fish, Lady Fish, and magnificant Tarpon fishing during the warmer summer months.
